Content Planning Tips
Whether you run a website, a blog or a YouTube channel, a simple plan saves time and keeps you consistent. Planning is what turns occasional posting into steady growth.
1. Collect ideas all the time
Keep a notes app or notebook. Write down questions from viewers, search suggestions, problems you solved and topics you want to explain. Ten minutes of collecting each day gives you plenty of ideas.
2. Group ideas into themes
Choose three or four main themes for your site or channel. For example: beginner guides, problem solving, tools and reviews. Themes help you stay focused and help visitors know what to expect.
3. Make a simple calendar
- Decide how many posts you can really make per week.
- Write the topic and the date for the next four weeks.
- Leave one free slot for something timely or unplanned.
4. Work in batches
Research several topics together, write or record several in one session and edit in another. Batching reduces the time spent switching between tasks.
5. Reuse your best work
Turn a popular video into a blog post, a short clip or a checklist. Update old posts that still get visitors instead of always starting from zero.
6. Review monthly
Once a month, look at which content got the most views and time on page. Make more of the best and stop what is not working.
